Mcqueen Adams

Comedian and producer MCQUEEN (Comedy Central, Funny or Die) releases his debut album, BLACK CAT a genre-defying album borne of fever dreams where unforgettable characters exist and commingle with David Bowie, Kevin Costner and Harry Potter and are soundtracked by triptastic narratives and soundscapes. It’s Daft Punk meets Weird Al as McQueen creates original music with beats and comedy. The concept for BLACK CAT traces back to when McQueen was a kid in Massachusetts and fell very ill. Fever dreams became his reality where he lived in the body of a black cat and was guided through unbelievable landscapes, was lost and found, and eventually made his way home. These fever dreams are now alive on BLACK CAT.

McQueen (nee McQueen Adams) is a one-man show extraordinaire. With every live show, McQueen creates a new universe of original songs, comedy voiceovers and visuals, all of which Thom Yorke of Radiohead hails as "just brilliant!" In his all new live show, McQueen performs tracks from his debut album BLACK CAT, complete with original visuals for an audio and video adventure to behold as the strange world in his head comes to life through a crazy dreamscape of sight and sound.

McQueen is the creator of the hit Comedy Central original digital series "Heads WIll Roll." He has toured nationally including headlining a Funny Or Die tour, performed at top venues in NYC and LA and festivals including New York Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, MOOG Fest, Waking Windows and NACA MainStage headliner. “How would I define it?”, McQueen ponders. “Comedy with great original music. A great story. An homage to not wanting to grow up. Not wanting to say goodbye to all that comes with that. Yes, exactly that. And so much more.
